This Privacy Policy explains how Selina Labs collects, uses, stores, and protects personal and technical information across all products and services powered by the Fold protocol, including but not limited to FoldSEND, FoldVAULT, Fold0, Selina.AI, and any related domains, subdomains, applications, or interfaces (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using any of the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the Services, process transactions, and comply with legal obligations. This may include:

1.1 Account Information

Information you provide during account creation or authentication, such as your email address, unique user ID, and login credentials managed through Firebase or other authentication providers.

1.2 Service Interaction Data

Limited metadata about how you use the Services (e.g., file size, type, upload/download timestamps, expiration windows, tag entries, and subscription activity). We do not store or retain unencrypted file contents. All user files are encrypted before storage, and encryption keys are not accessible to Selina Labs.

1.3 Payment Information

When you purchase paid features (e.g., FoldVAULT seeds or FoldSEND Pro access), payments are processed by Stripe or another third-party provider. Selina Labs does not store your full payment card details.

1.4 Technical Data

Standard technical information automatically collected for service operation and security, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and session logs.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information strictly for operational and security purposes, including:

• Delivering and maintaining the Services;
• Enforcing service limits, entitlements, and billing;
• Processing payments and subscriptions;
• Protecting against abuse, fraud, and security threats;
• Communicating with you about account activity, system changes, or compliance matters;
• Offering you optional updates or promotions for other Selina Labs products (you may opt out at any time).

We do not use your encrypted file contents for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3.1 Encryption

All files are encrypted before being stored. Selina Labs cannot access decrypted file contents without your encryption key.

3.2 Storage Duration

Files, seeds, and related data are stored only as long as required for service operation (e.g., until expiration, deletion, or maximum usage limits). Expired data is permanently deleted from active storage.

3.3 Safeguards

We use industry-standard technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect the data we collect. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Selina Labs does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose limited information only:

• To service providers under strict confidentiality obligations (e.g., payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers);

The Services are operated from the United States. Users outside the U.S. access them at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
